Our Terms and Conditions 
  • All cats must be vaccinated against cat flu and feline enteritis, leukaemia vaccination is also recommended. Your cat must have had a booster at least 14 days before their arrival. 

  • Please bring your cat’s up-to-date vaccination card with you at the time of arrival, as proof of vaccination is needed before we can accept your cat.

  • We also ask that your cat is up to date with flea and worming treatment prior to arrival.

  • If your cat shows signs of flea or worm infestation we will treat them and you will be charged for the treatment on collection of your cat.

  • We do not take un-neutered male cats over the age of 6 months.

  • Please note we will need emergency contact details from you for a person who would be willing to collect your cat in the event of an emergency or that you are unable to collect your cat yourself at the pre-arranged time.

  • Cats must arrive in a safe and secure carrier

  • We reserve the right to refuse to admit any cat that is showing signs of ill health. This is so that we can ensure the good health of all of our residents.

  • We do not offer any discounts for early departures or late arrivals.

  • We can only accept payment by cheque, cash or by bank transfer.

  • Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit.

  • If the booked number of days is reduced following confirmation of the original booking, the deposit paid for the cancelled days will be forfeited. E.g. if a booking is made and deposit paid for a 10 day stay and the booking is later amended to 6 days, the deposit for the cancelled 4 days will be forfeited and cannot be used to pay towards the remaining balance due. 

  • If your cat is not collected within 15 days of the agreed departure date and we have not been notified about a change to your plans we reserve the right to re-home your cat. This would only happen in the event that both yourself and your emergency contact have failed to either collect your cat or to notify us of any change of plan.

  • By booking your cat to stay with us, you agree to the following statements:

  • "I authorise you to seek veterinary attention on my behalf should it be necessary and for my cat to be examined and investigations/treatment performed if required."

  • "I agree to pay for any veterinary treatment my cat receives while I am away or to reimburse Jasmine Cattery if they have already paid the veterinary bill, upon collection of my cat."

  • "I agree to Jasmine Cattery administering any prescribed treatments the vet considers advisable."

  • "I understand while every care will be given to my cat/s, they are boarded at entirely my own risk."

  • "I give Jasmine Cattery permission to administer worm/flea treatment to my cat/s if necessary and I will pay for the cost of the treatment upon collection of my cat/s."

  • "I have read the terms and conditions and agree to them."

 

Cancellation

  • We would appreciate as much notice as possible when cancellation is necessary.

  • If bookings are cancelled with less than 10 days notice, unfortunately full payment will be required.

Privacy Policy

Jasmine Cattery is committed to protecting and respecting your private and personal details. Any information we collect will only be used by the staff of Jasmine Cattery and for the purpose it is intended for; except in special circumstances as detailed below. 

In order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we do update this policy from time to time so please review this policy regularly.

What information do we collect?

To ensure we are in line with the CIEH model licence conditions it is important that we collect certain personal information from you when we register you as a client. Your name, address, phone numbers and email address along with details of an emergency contact (for whom you are responsible for obtaining permission from in order to supply us with their name and a means of contacting them) are all essential for the smooth running of Jasmine Cattery. We also collect information about your cat with the details of your own veterinary practice to ensure we can provide the best care should any issues arise whilst your cat is boarding with us.

What do we use this information for?

The information supplied by you may be used in the following ways:

1. To record your booking/information, to ensure we can offer the most appropriate care to your cat/s and to track day to day information as is necessary for the running of the cattery and to produce invoices and receipts.

2. To contact you, your emergency contact or your own veterinary practice should any issue arise whilst your cat is boarding with us or to provide updates where requested.

3. From time to time we may send you promotional emails and information about our services/ offers and other information as appropriate.

How do we keep your information safe?

We hold customers information in two ways:

Digitally: We record details of all bookings on a secure computer. Only staff at Jasmine Cattery have access to this data.


Hard Copy: Where our Customer Records/ Consent Form/ booking forms are completed in hard copy format, we securely store these in the Jasmine Cattery Office. We also keep copies of invoices and receipts for accounting purposes.

How long do we keep this information for and how do we dispose of it?

The information you give us will be kept as long as you remain a customer of Jasmine Cattery and should you cease to use our services it will be deleted from our customer database within two years of your cat’s last stay and any paper copies (excluding invoices and receipts) will be shredded.

Sharing your information

We will not share or sell your information to any third party for the purposes of marketing. Information will only be shared where there may be an appropriate legal reason to do so or should your cat require medical attention by a vet and only information relevant to that situation will be shared.

Our Website

Our website may collect personal information from you should you use your online contact form and these details may be stored manually and/or electronically.

Our website may also track certain information about you during the course of your browsing, such as your IP address and browser identification and may also use cookies (small files that a site or service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your web browser). Such information collected will only be used for analytical purposes, in order for us to improve our website and services or to improve your browsing experience whilst on our website and will not be used by us to personally identify an individual. If you prefer to block these cookies you can do so through your own browsers settings; some functions of the website may however cease to operate properly if you do so.

Your Rights

As described in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our clients have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed – which is why we have written this policy.

  • The right of access – our clients can request to see what information we hold on them.

  • The right to rectification – Our clients can contact us if they believe any of the information we hold is out of date or inaccurate.

  • The right to erasure or to restrict processing– in some circumstances our clients have the right to request that we delete their personal data or stop collecting or processing it.

  • The right to portability – in some circumstances, our clients can request a copy/ transfer of personal data we hold on them to themselves or a third party.

  • The right to object – our clients can choose to opt out of direct marketing messages at any point or to withdraw consent to other consent based processing.

  • The right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
